Just thought I would Let You Know....
I have started to shower mid-afternoon on Saturdays and curl my hair for evening Mass. Then, I just use those curls for Mass in the morning! Win! Win!

Just a Weekend
This weekend I made lunches for a visiting priest and two brothers. It's kind of fun choosing out various foods and hoping all of it will be welcomed!
We attended Mass on Saturday and were invited to an evening dinner.
On Sunday, we attended Mass, came home, ate lunch and then Hubby headed for a nap. In the meantime, I prepped lunches, washed dishes and settled into my afternoon routine of bills and budget. Course, who decides to wake up from his nap TWO hours early? That would be Hubby. ARGH! The house could always be neater to at the start of a brand new week but nothing ever goes to plan. At least the kitchen is relatively clean and the laundry isn't too bad.

Missing in Action

| I think I am going to make a customized version of this. |
This hasn't been a great year for my family. I just haven't wanted to post lately but I am starting to get back to normal.
I am working through a number of things but hopefully will be able to get back on track.
There is so much perversion in this world- please pray hard.

Yep, I Still Got It....
So.... I was at the abortion clinic when this guy drives up and starts talking to me while basically parked in the middle of the street. I couldn't quite hear him and was thinking that he may have brought his girlfriend to the clinic for an abortion. I asked him to turn down a nearby road and I would speak with. He agreed and I walked across the street to meet him.
For the sake of the story we will call this man "Luke". Luke was drunk. He had an open beer can in his hand and was taking copious gulps in between asking me to get into this car and drive up the street with him. Apparently, the " woman of his dreams" had broken his heart and he was going to flirt with a woman and had chosen me. I talked to him and asked him not to drink and asked him numerous times to turn off the car engine. As his voice raised and he threatened to drive off- I motioned over a male friend to come and talk to him. As they spoke, I was able to call the police... and boy did they come! Six cop cars came for one drunk man! From what I observed, they did not treat him poorly and took their time arresting him. By his vehicle were the beer cans and other alcoholic beverages he had consumed or would be consuming. Pray that he will be alright. The young man spoke of losing his mother and a brother and that tells me he was(is) in a bad place.
On a side note- yep I still got it.... as long as you are a young man who has been driving drunk all night after breaking up with his girlfriend and comes upon an older woman outside of an abortion clinic offering pro-life counseling.
I made sure to let my husband know... this babe needs protection.

Busy!
Hello All! Just a quick post to tell you what is going on in my little world.
My weekend schedule has been busy with choral practice, Mass, symphony concerts, pro-life work, and visiting with friends.
My poor house has received the brunt of this hectic schedule and so I took an extra day off to clean and finish a painting project. Unfortunately, I spent too many hours outside and will have to just do an hour of painting a day until done.
That's about it for now! What is going on in your world? How are the kids? Any new projects? Any interesting events?

What's Going On......
Hey All!
My apologies for such infrequent posts. I have stuff going on but I am not sure it merits an actual blog posts.
I am working full time and have been going to choral practice. I am still involved in the pro-life movement. I also continue to coordinate the cleaning at my chapel. Keeping up the house is a constant struggle for me. I guess when a family has a lot of interests then things will get messy!
We hope to work on the landscaping around the deck in October but the weather is still warm these days.
I also want to paint my front porch and we all know that paint does not gel with a clumsy person like me!
Hmmmm.... I continue to be banned from purchasing make-up.... and it is a bit painful these days.
Hmmmmm... there has been a lot of auto maintenance taking place, hence the reason for the recent completion of books! Waiting for a car repair can do that for you-ha!

Nothing To See Here......
Literally.... we had to shave little Ambrose down due to some nasty matted hair. He looks so sad and forlorn in this picture!
Sorry I haven't posted too much lately. Life has been pretty quiet around here. Yes, we have business but I don't know if I could deem it as blog post worthy.
I have just been doing the usual....work, church, choral, house stuff... nothing exciting.
Maybe next week will be more interesting!

A Week in Review and Updates
This week in review and more random stuff.
Ambrose has been ill with some kind of stomach bug. We have experienced multiple accidents and sleepless nights. The poor boy hasn't been able to control himself. I am happy to say that I think he is finally doing better.
I started a knitting project to make Hubby a hat. I have started it over four times-hopefully I will get it completed!
I auditioned for the choral group and I didn't realize how much I missed it until the moment I arrived to sing!
Work is going very well now that I am transitioning into my new position. This is really my niche and I pray it goes well!
Praying and counseling outside of the abortion clinic is becoming more and more a priority in my life.
Um... still keeping my List of 32 going and I find it really is good for me to have in my weekly adventures!

Sometimes You Get a Good Guy......
Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. our HVAC guy stopped at our house to fix our air conditioner issue. Within 8 minutes- he had diagnosed and fixed the problem. The capacitor had burned out and needed to be replaced. We were no longer under warranty but he still replaced it and didn't charge us a dime. He mentioned a larger HVAC company in the area and relayed that a capacitor costs $30.00 but that this larger company charged customers $130.00 of the part! I had recently spoken with someone who used the same company and was charged $8,000.00 to replace a unit! That is double it should have cost!
This kind of honesty and good work deserves a mention and Hubby and I give out his name all the time. He is the kind of guy you would like for all avenues of repairs.
That's my story.
