Cutting the tile

Stay tuned for more pictures!

Option Two

We finally found someone to remodel our half bathroom! Yesterday, our friend started to lay the tile.
He let me choose the layout of the colours for the center section of the title. Which one do you think I chose? Which one would you choose?

2019 Reading: The Last Superstition

So..... this is a philosophy book and I can say that the parts I understood were very good!
I honestly would have to read this book a second time to grasp it better.
I will say, his breakdown regarding the illogical thoughts of homosexuality was well written and worth the read.

2019 Reading List Update: Book 5: Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary

As you know, I love Brant Pitre's books. He is bringing back to the forefront many writings of our early Christian Fathers.
This is another beautiful book showing the depth of God and how He is in all the details. Mary is represented within the Old Testament in tandem with her Divine Son and Savior and Pitre does a great job showing us all the foreshadowing of the future.

2019 Reading List Update: Book 4: Silence- A series of conferences given by a Calmaldolese Hermit

" Christians should be on their guard against the snares of the devil. In order to do so, we need a deep faith. Unfortunately, many are losing their faith, and consequently they become careless and weak. They no longer can, nor do, resist the devil. This is the beginning of the end for many."

2019 Declutter Project 4: Nail Polishes

Apologies again because I keep forgetting to take pictures of my little declutter projects. I did go through all my nail polishes and rid myself of almost all of them.

2019 Reading List Update: Book 3, Patience compiled by Father Lasance

This is a short book of 148 pages and is great as a daily meditation-especially if you don't have much time.  I especially like the meditation about Saint Joseph which triggered thoughts of how this holy man felt while journeying to Egypt with the Holy Family to save Jesus.

2019 Reading List Update: Book 2, Jesus the Bridegroom

Yes, it is another book by Mr. Brant Pitre-probably my favorite modern author. Once again, he breaks down layer after layer of the words and actions of Our Lord and what they truly meant from a Scriptural context and through the eyes of the Jews at that time.
His writings have truly given me a deeper understanding which has bled into my spiritual life-especially when meditating. I cannot recommend him enough!

So, I added this storage piece that is more specifically made for cabinets but hey! It has really worked out well with adding more storage space and keeping things neat in the fridge.

2019 Reading List Update: Book 1, The First-Time Manager

This is a great book and relevant for all who interact with others often. One can take information from this book and utilize it if you are involved with any kind of management of people or situations even if you are not a manager. I am actually going to recommend this book to my boss and have him give it to the other managers in the department.
The books delves into the very practical aspects of a manager but then discusses the human side of managing which can be utilized by anyone.
