Well, I definitely had high hopes for this month, but I am not sure I will get everything done on my list. I have yet to go on a walk in my neighborhood...just can't seem to find the time or I am just plain tired. I will handle number 7 on Monday and I might get to filing receipts today.
Right now, though, I have been catching up on all my laundry which includes a massive ironing party. So far, I have ironed seven shirts for the hubby as well as a few clothing pieces for me... I have really gotten into maxi dresses last year and this year and found three at the local Walmart which are all quite lovely. I will try to post pictures of them on the huniehuniesugarsugar blog this week. Does ironing for two hours plus regular cleaning equal number 21??? Hmmm.....

Sweet Potatoes in a Salad?
My husband really enjoys the sweet potato fries that I cook up with our burgers. I thought it would be a great idea to cut the sweet potatoes even smaller and thinner, fry them up and top over our salads.
Check out that crispiness!
I threw together butter lettuce, homemade bacon bits, and cheese (cheddar for the husband and goat cheese for me)
I then cut up pork meat into bite sizes, cooked them up and mixed it all into this great dish! The dressing we use is a homemade olive oil/red wine vinegar recipe.
The crunchy/sweet addition to the salad with the sweet potatoes makes this dish delicious and fun! Will it handle your edacious appetite? I think so!

Wheelin' Wednesday: CVS and Bookstore
CVS has a number of artsy items on sale for 75% off the retail price! I decided that combining these sale items and Catholic based coloring books would be a wonderful match! The children can learn about the true faith through arts and crafts!
