I frustrate myself quite often with my own shortcomings. I know what I am
supposed to do, but day in and day out I don't meet those goals. Some would say I was too hard on myself, but one can't be too hard when one knows that these goals could have been accomplished with little sweat.
Anyways... as a married, childless woman, I have different frustrations for those not walking down the same path. So I venture to ask, what frustrates you? Is it when you run out of time? Miss a task? Forget something? Procrastination? Laziness?
Here are my top six (just another excuse to make a list):
1. I loathe when I put things off until the last part of the day and then I am too tired to complete the task or I do it in a poor fashion.
2. I hate that I let house chores pile up instead of just being more on top of things...why don't I wash that dish right away? Why can't I put those folded towels in the closet?
3. I hate that I don't set enough time aside on a regular basis to work on the budget and keep things filed neatly. The good intentions are there, but I don't seem to follow through (another resolution for 2013).
4. Why don't I read more instead of sitting half dead on the couch while watching a kids television show about mermaids... ( a show I really like but makes my husband shake his head)?
5. Why can't I be more on top of the meal planning?
6. Why don't I practice my choral music more often?
Whew....just needed to get that off of my porcelain skin chest there.....
