Part Song of Part Concert
I wasn't able to get the entire song recorded and then struggled with transferring from one device to another so here is my alternative. This was my favorite piece we sang for the Christmas concert and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed singing it!

Missing in Action in Blog World
Hey All!
I am sorry I have not been posting too much as of late. My schedule has been quite busy but not with anything super fun and exciting.
My choral group sang at our first concert for the season.
This was one of my favorite pieces. I sang soprano II (although, some music lists this as alto I)
We ended up cutting three songs from the performance and one of them I really liked which is here:
Let me know what you think.
I sing alto one on this piece.
We should start our Christmas music for the next concert. Let me know if you would like a list!

Musically Manic Monday
Work: Training three new employees.
Garden: It is cold!
Church: Not too much going on here except that we continue to keep a well stocked book store.
Home: Two new quotes today for bathroom renovations.
Budget: Finishing up the records for 2012 and now using a new spreadsheet for 2013. I created this spreadsheet with a few more built in formulas to automate things a bit more. So far it is working quite nicely. I may even make it a public spreadsheet depending how everything sizes up at the end of the year.
Cleaning: We are okay in this arena.
Pro Life: I am getting back into this the upcoming weekend.
Dinner Making: Normal
Health: Illness seems to be running rampant over here, and I am hoping I keep healthy!
Music: Choral practice starts up this month but nothing is going on musically this week.
What's going on in your world?

A Peek ....
The second one is my favorite of our entire concert- increase the volume to hear the beauty of this piece!

Chris Isaak
Hubby accompanied me to his first Chris Isaak concert. I think this was my seventh and, as always, it was a great show! I stood for most of the concert and danced in more of a subdued style since the bulk of the audience had at least twenty years on me.
Anyway- what a great band and Chris Isaak has wonderful pitch and overall control. I am so jealous of his gifts!
You can see that this was a small venue which was awesome.
